Very tasty! I didn't think that the flavors would work together but it was very delicious. If you're not a PB fan, only use 1/3 or it becomes pasty and I will be making a slight variation for my next batch.....sour cream and cream cheese!!! I can't wait........

Really yummy! I eliminated the cayenne & peppers (just don't like the taste and used japanese sweet potatoes and it came out really flavorful. The only warning is that the peanut butter kind of overpowered it a little, so I would go slow w/ the PB & keep tasting. But I also didn't want to buy a whole jar of the natural PB just for this recipe so I used a low fat skippy that I had on hand, so that could be why too.

I loved this soup. I love sweet potatoes and peanut butter. I thought it was spot on! I did however put 1/2 the amount of the cayenne pepper, as Ellie seems to like things VERY spicy. WONFERFUL!

Excellent like the rest of her recipes. The mixing of flavors of cayenne pepper with peanut butter was awesome. Really comforting. Go Ellie.

This was special. I went heavy with the cayenne and substituted celery for green pepper and used crunchy peanut butter.

My husband liked this soup; I did not. It was the first thing I have made from Ellie's recipes that I didn't like, so I wonder if I did something wrong...? The only thing I changed was using regular peanut butter instead of natural, and it tasted like peanut butter soup to me instead of sweet potato soup. I love peanut butter, but it seemed too overpowering to the rest of the great ingredients in this.

Very good. I really liked the spice and Thai flavor to it, and I like that it doesn't need heavy cream. I'll be keeping the recipe and making it again and again.

This soup was great! However, a little too spicy for us. Next time I'll reduce the amount of cayenne and black pepper and cut back on the ginger a little. I also used regular peanut butter. Thank you for a hearty soup!

AWESOME!! But, tweeked it, had not red peppers on hand, substituted red peeper flakes. Also no honey so I made a simple syrup and used regular skippy peanut butter instead of natural but it is delish! Thanks for the recipe!

The soup is tasty, but could use more flavor, and because of the ginger, onions and peanut butter think Thai. This soup was labor-intensive, and generally way too cumbersome for the outcome. The next time I spend that much time in the kitchen, I want to walk out with Thanksgiving dinner. It's a fair soup, but that's all.
