These are the first cookies that I have ever made from scratch. I didn't have dried cranberries so I used dried mixed berries and dried pineapple. The batter I made was a tad dry so I added another egg, the cookies I made were also bigger that the recipe said. I alos had to replace 2/3 of a cup of the oats with oat bran In the end, they were great! Everyone loved them. I will definitely make them again

My teenagers' favorite cookie is predictably chocolate chip. They did not even grimace over the healthy rolled oats in this cookie or the cranberries. I did add 1 cup of white chocolate chips to smooth over the healthy bit, but they loved them.

My husband and I also thought they were awesome.

The extra twist that distinguishes them is roasting your own cardamom seeds and grinding them to add extra fresh flavor.

    Make them today.

soo good!! I am always tinkering with recipes to make them a bit more healthy,
sub smart-balance for butter and splenda for white sugar, also added 1/4 cup ground flaxseed.Husband and child approved!I need to make more!

Baby...these were SO-O-O good. I used freshly ground cardamon in them and they were da bomb. I usually don't give reviews, but I had to on these.

I used real cranberries instead of dried ones and my family and friends could not get enough - i must have made them 7 or 8 times from christmas til now!

These cookies are so delicious. They were all gone in one day. Just make sure you use a heavy baking tray because the cheap ones don't allow the cookies to "melt" down. I did one batch on a light weight tray and they stayed in more of a "ball" shape.

Everybody ate these up so fast I was amazed. I used Craisins. Terrific and easy to make and bake.

These were in fact very easy as the recipe indicated. I made some minor modifications - using only 1/2 cup of granulated and brown sugar respectively (instead of 3/4 cup each. Instead of cranberries, I used 3/4 cup of chocolate chips. Instead of cardamon, I used All Spice.

The batter is very dry and I was concerned but they baked up just fine. Very tasty and very simple. I think that in future I might add a little honey or molasses to give the cookies a bit more depth.
