Very good. Love the honey taste. Very crumbly at room temp. Refrigerating helps, plus I think they taste a lot better cold and are really chewy that way!

We love these bars. I make them every Sunday night and they are our breakfast Monday - Friday on the run. We don't like the fruit in them so we added sunflower seeds and keep them in the refrigerator. I also use Splenda brown sugar. We call them "Happy Bars" because it is the only sweet we eat all week, other than fresh fruit, until Sunday, our cheat day. I have an eighteen year old that loves them. They do fall apart a little but worth picking up the crumbs!

Very good tasting. Nice juicy bits of fruit. Used slivered almonds instead of peanuts and replaced half the figs with dried cranberries. But could not get the mixture to stick together no matter how much I pressed it into the pan. Straight out of the fridge, they handled OK, but eating them cold just wasn't as good. As soon as they warm to room temperature, they crumble apart again. Will try again with more peanut butter and honey to try to hold them together better.

These did not taste like I expected but were good. Maybe it was due to my substitutions...I used almond butter instead of peanut, flax seeds for the wheat germ, and sunflower seeds for the peanuts. I was worried that they were going to be too sweet when I tasted the almond butter mixture but is was okay after mixed with the dry ingredients. I will probably make these again but I think I will cut out the brown sugar or something to make them more savory than sweet.
