Fantastic! I wanted to eat the entire batch. Follow the recipe to the "t" and had absolutely no problems whatsoever. I will make this my "go to" recipe for cupcakes. Until today, I had yet to make a yellow cake batter that wasn't dry and crumbly. This one is moist and flavorful. The icing is simple but perfect. Two thumbs up.

These cupcakes are so delicious. My little girl helped me make the cupcakes. She had a great time decorating the cupcakes with sprinkles and bunny shaped marshmallows We just could not wait for them to get out of the oven. Yummy for your tummy! The best homemade cupcakes I ever tasted for sure!

I think they are a good cupcake that remind me of what my mother made for me and what i am making for my kids, and as a profesional baker I think they are a success!

Unfortunately I did not like this recipe at all. It was probably the most dry and crumbly cake I have ever had. I usually love all of Paula's recipes but I will not make this one again. I was very disappointed with the way it turned out.

Ok... these are the best cupcakes I've ever eaten. Be sure to not overfill the cups because they rise really well. Also make sure the butter is fresh (not tasting like the freezer where I got it because it pretty much IS the icing

I'm sorry, but I found this cupcake to be of thick consistency.
The icing is great.
