I omitted the dressing but the burgers were still great. The seasoning in the meat added great flavor and we would definitely make it again. Half a pound of meat for each burger was a lot though so I may reduce it a bit and make 5 or 6 patties

I cheated a bit on this recipe. My grocery store didn't have ground chicken so I ended up making Tur-Beef Club Burgers instead. I did, however, use the ground turkey, but I added ground beef to it and made the burgers as directed by Rachael. Well, I am sure the chicken was tasty and the burgers were probably more "figure friendly" as Rach would say, but we didn't miss out on the flavor whatsoever!! I enjoyed these as well as my family did. I didn't make the sauce, as none of my children or my husband were interested. They just liked the traditional condiments. I did have to make the patties a bit smaller, but other than that we ate them up with a side of cold mustard potato salad and tall glass of southern sweet tea! What a perfect meal for a Friday night!!

These burgers are great. We skipped the bacon and the sauce (I'm not a fan of the first, him the second, went with our own toppings. There is a lot here and I would recommend making 6 patties thinner and slightly wider then she did. They make awesome leftovers for lunch the next day. Great with cheddar cheese and probably pepper-jack if that's your thing.
Next time we're going to skip the shallot and try an apple instead. The shallots are a nice twist by the way, they help keep things moist but provide a very mild onion flavor.

Rach, I rarely comment I think this is my 2nd and the 1st was yours as well. I made the burgers a few tweeks just cuz. I only used turkey and 1/2 the amount so I halved everythinig. I added some leftover chopped dill to the meat as well. I cut 1 more corner I bought an envelope of hidden valley ranch 1 cup light butter milk and veginaise and added more chopped dill. We were eating the ranch with a spoon. You are AWESOME!!!

For RaShonda of Marietta, GA., there is no pork in turkey bacon. It is made from turkey (that's why it's called TURKEY bacon - it's just TASTES like bacon - it's pretty good. As for me, these burgers were not bad, but I much prefer Rachel's Cranberry Bog Turkey Burgers.

Burgers were very tasty. The meat was a little dry, so I added 2 Tbsp of applesauce before forming the burgers. There was too much meat for 4 burgers, so I made 6 burgers to make sure that they were thoroughly cooked.

I made these for me and my kids. I didn't follow the recipe completely (didn't have shallots. We loved them. My son is very picky and lives on cheeseburgers. This was a wonderful substitute for beef. We just ate them like regular ol' cheeseburgers and they were yummy. Lots of flavor.

My favorite burgers for the summer, I skip the bacon and made them smaller since I have 2 small children but they also love them.
