Well to start with, I'm only giving this recipe 3 stars because the cooking time is waaay understated here, unless you enjoy eating raw chicken. Eating raw chicken can cause SERIOUS health problems.

Moving on...I used this recipe for three bone-in chicken breast and there was no way that the seasoning portios or bread crumb portions is going to be enough for a whole chicken. My suggestion is add more seasoning and more bread crumbs. My version turned out great; I just used this recipe as a base to build on.

I made this for my dad who is diabetic because he didn't want fried chicken the regular way. I followed the recipe to the letter but afte 30mins, the chicken was not done. I cooked it about 15mins longer and it was fine. The chicken had good flavor and it was juicy so I gave it four stars. Just adjust the cooking time and you're in business!!

I could not believe how crispy the chicken actually was! My husband is a very picky eater and he actually thought it was pretty good. I used boneless skinless chicken breast instead of whole pieces. After exactly 35 minutes it was cooked perfectly! Next time I will season the chicken a little more before breading it (Just personal preference. I cooked a total of two chicken breasts and the oregano was perfect for that. All in all....it fed a toddler, an extremely picky eater and me!

I give the flavor a 4 but the recipe a 1. There is no way 2 cut-up chickens will fit in a 13x9 dish. Also you will run out of bread crumbs if you are doing 2 chickens. And, you will use all the butter on just 1 chicken. Was the recipe accurate stating 2 chickens? And since 1 chicken was entirely RAW after 35 minutes I don't see how 2 chickens would be anywhere close to cooked. Again, I loved the flavor but I cook a lot and adjusted on the fly, but someone looking at this recipe for first time guidance may be dissappointed.

Love it, love it, LOVE IT. We make this all the time. I use extra seasoning (personal preference and make them as chicken fingers as well. Favorite of all who eat them.

The butter really makes this, and the chicken came out most and wonderful. Was a bit intimidated by the battering process but really was pretty quick and easy. Will cook again and again.

MMM, good. One of the few oven fried chicken recipes I've tasted that actually tastes like fried chicken. Just as my own personal preference, I substituted ground black pepper for cayenne pepper, but I kept everything else the same. Even my very young, very picky granddaughters who usually refuse anything but mac & cheese or pizza asked for seconds and even thirds. Their mom was so shocked she asked for the recipe!

I use this recipe for chicken fingers and it is a HUGE hit! This is what my family asks for when they say 'fried chicken'!! Nice low-fat option!
