Love this. It's easy and delicious. My fiance was skeptical about the quantity of peas, and yet it works perfectly. We like it with naan (we can get it at our grocery store or tortilla chips when the naan runs out. I also usually just use a pound of ground beef instead of half beef, half veal.

keema is a nice quick and easy weeknight dish. i like this recipe. i alternate between this and a texmex style chili when i don't have much time to cook and have ground meat. glad they added aarti to the cable tv mix...we share the same global food flavor sense.

Loved, loved, loved this recipe. I used organic ground beef only, no veal. Omitted the peas, only because my husband and son do not like them. However, I did want more of a sauce so I added one small can of tomato puree and small container of greek yougert(this made a wonderful creamy sauce, however you may want to up the spices, probably added extra ginger as well. I served it over brown rice with salad on the side. We all loved it including my husband who is not into Indian food (not like my son and I anyway I plan on replacing meat with eggplant for my nice who is vegetarian. Can't wait to cook it again.

I only had the beef and used it. It turned out very nice. My family really enjoyed it and it is a great "different" way to use ground beef! Will make again.

Was very good. You could definitely add more garam masala than the recipe calls for. I changed it and used local ground beef only, and pre-cooked to drain the fat from it. I also substituted sugar snap peas for the peas as I don't like them, and I didn't cook as long so they wouldn't be soggy. My husband gave it the thumbs up and wants me to make it again.

This was a good basic recipe. I doubled the garam masala and the ginger and also put a teaspoon of curry and it was still a little lacking in flavor. I also only used only ground beef. I love indian food, but i've never had this from a restaurant, so i'm not sure how it should taste. It is a good basic recipe with good basic flavors, just needs a little more. Next time I may put in a can of tomato sauce to make it saucier and serve over rice, or maybe some lentils. My boyfriend really liked it, but he likes things with mild flavors. I would definately recommed throwing in some extra flavors to make this recipe great! MammaJamma's suggestion of pureed sweet potato or butternut squash sounds amazing! I served with rice and garlic naan.

I thought this was absolutely delicious. I halved the recipe and used only ground beef. I also added 1/2 C. sweet potato puree and 1/2 C. butternut squash puree (as I've been hiding veggie purees in recipes a la Deceptively Delicious. The additions added a subtle sweetness and creaminess to the dish which I really enjoyed.
