Ive been looking for a good harissa recipe ever since I came home from Morocco in January. This tastes the closest to authentic harissa, that accompanied every meal I had while in Morocco. I bet with some lamb chops it would be to die for. Give it a shot. Incidentally, I used three small red Thai-style chilles - I like it REALLY hot and found two chilles werent enough, esp after adding the 3T of olive oil. I only used 1T olive oil and it was just fine.

My My...This is just the perfect recipe especially when you want to try something different. All ingridients were easy and quick to find in the store and it was very easy to prepare and cook this recipe. The taste....oh my goodness. You could taste the spices in the Harissa Sauce, the natural lamb flavor, garlic, cilantro, green onions, the whole nine yards. It was so delicious....plus I got a gold star from all my friends. They enjoyed it too. Thank-You Tyler!!
