I watched Sunny make this on TV and thought "I could do that!" I have been married for 39 years and have NEVER been able to make a meat loaf you could eat, even our Bulldogs (who will eat ANYTHING throughout the years turned their noses up at my meat loaf. The hard thing is that we are just two people and I could never justify cooking 2 pounds of meat for us. Seemed like such a waste. Even left over for sandwiches (if you can eat it would go to waste. So since this recipe calls for 1 lb total of meat, I am going to try it. I'll let you know if it's edible. LOL

I must say that I have always been a very finicky eater! Tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers were my most hated veggies as a child. Though as an adult I have come to love tomatoes and peppers, onions are still by far #1 on things that I hate. I said all this to say that i never liked meatloaf until this recipe!! I made it last night and it was delicious. The flavors were really great together. I used diced tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano, I also used only ground turkey . But I promise it will be a dish that I will be sure to add to my growing repertoire!!!!!!!!!

This recipe looked great on television and tasted even better. I had some chunky homemade tomato sauce and I used it instead of the crushed tomatoes. I also prefer Italian breadcrumbs in my meatloaf or meatballs, so I went with that. The presentation was nice enough for company.
Thank you, Sunny!

I watched her make this on tv, and I made it the next day along with her home made macaroni and cheese. Awesome!
My husband and I don't like eating turkey meat, even though we want to get healthy, this recipe was a way to get it down us! Whole family enjoyed this and told me it was a winner! Starting to love Sunny's recipes!

I happened to see this show while sitting in the doctor's waiting room. I saw how easy this recipe was and thought "I've got to try this". I am making it tonight for the 2nd time. My friends and family love it! Thank you for showing that something different can be cooked easily and quickly.

Great Pick Sunny! Love your style. I have made this twice, each time they go back for more. The children love this dish too. I get two from one pepper, but like them thicker.
