    I dont eat fish and have never cooked it before but my husband and his dad brought in a big bunch of cat fish. I whipped this up for them and they loved it. I even ate some and didnt mind it. My father in law who is a big fisher and has ate more then his fair share of cat fish through the years said it was the best he ever had!!! I used canned red peppers and i think it turned out great!

    @ Susieqangel, roasting red peppers yourself is really easy. I do it on my grill if I have several to do, but if I'm just doing one or two I do them right over the flame on my gas stove. Just let them go until they are mostly black all over and then put them in a bowl and cover with saran wrap until they cool. Then you just peel off the black skin, slice them in half and use the side of your knife to scrape out the seeds....or you can buy a jar ;

    I plan on trying this recipe tonite. (I only gave it 3 stars because I haven't tried it yet

    The sauce was incredible though I added a little salt and pepper to kick up the flavor a bit. I used Tilapia, but I think it would be great on Halibut or even Mahi Mahi. If using concentrated lime juice, don't go overboard or the sauce gets too acidic.

    This sounds great but did any of you use the can red peppers or did fresh red peppers ? How did you roast them and did you use just regular red bell peppers? I saw on the shopping list she had it called for fresh red peppers but it does not tell how to roast them or how long to roast them. Thanks for any help.

    Saw this on Robin's Show this week and decided to try it tonight. My husband said this was the best tasting cat fish he's ever had! I added a bit more cumin and ginger than the recipe called for and added ground cayannne pepper & ground coriander to the pepper sauce just before serving and garnished the dish with fresh cilantro. I served this dish with brown jasmine rice. Beautiful colors-with the golden fish, fresh cilantro and red pepper sauce. This is definitely easy, fast, exceptionally delicious and healthy! It's going in my favorite recipe folder.

    Could be more spicy for my taste, however it was very good.

    This was so easy, and super delicious. I used tilapia fillets instead of the catfish and it was just as good. I also used israeli cous cous which is larger granules and more chewy. I loved all the texture from the crunchy sunflower seeds, chewy cous cous, and flaky fish.

    This receipe was easy and great. I used Tilapia b/c that is what I had in the freezer. The only thing I omitted was the sunflower seeds b/c I do not like crunch. All in all this was great, healthy and easy and I will make it again!

    Easy to make. I'd add lime zest to the sauce.
