Made them for my husband, teenage son and 7-year-old daughter. We all thought they were great! Crunchy, good flavor and not dry in the middle. Toward the end of my "breading station", my flour mixture was getting pretty goopy and I had to add more flour. Next time I think I'm going to try having two flour mixture bowls (one for the first dip and then another for my 2nd flour dip. I also need to get two sets of tongs. One for the breading process, and one to remove cooked chicken from the pan! Will definately make again!

These tenders are super tasty! I always tend to use a bit more flour then recommended. Adding a bit of cayenne is great too!

These are amazing! I didn't realize what a difference the buttermilk makes. Make sure you sit down before you have a bite because you will go weak in the knees! They were pretty easy to make, but I'm not as tidy as Rachel in the process. I'm going to get some nifty plastic tipped tongs like she used to dip the tenders back and forth in the flour and buttermilk because I kept having to wash my hands as the buttermilk and flour would cake up on my fingertips. This is an instant new family favorite!

Now this was an awesome recipe, mixing the ingredients and wondering what it would taste like was the most exciting part. I had to add a little more seasoning to the chicken tenders with the salt and pepper, and after I did that it was better than Zaxby's chicken tenders in my book. My family really loved the meal tonight. I would recommend to all my friends and family.

I loved this recipe! I have tried to make buttermilk fried chicken on several occasions and this recipe was absolutely the best I have tried! I did not find a need to double dip the chicken in the buttermilk. I would probably also add a little cayenne to the spice mix. Definitely a keeper in my books! Note: I noticed on the program Rachel mixed the spice mix with the chicken and not in the buttermilk, so I followed the tv recipe.

It is actually a deceptively bland flavor, but the poppy seeds are a very interesting flavor.

I made these today, because I wanted to try them out before I took them on a picnic next week, also want to see how good they are cold. I really liked them (dipped them in honey mustard dressing, yummy Was a bit concered that the breading kept coming off when I was eating them, kinda messy. I'm thinking if maybe they should be dipped in the flour, then buttermilk and then the flour again, eliminating the final dunk. I'm sure they would still be cruchy, just less breading to stay in tact with the chicken. All and all though, super simple and a crunchy yummy treat.
