As I read over the recipe I thought..."ranch dip mix prepared according to package directions??" The other - one - reviewer is right, another typo! DO NOT prepare dip according to package directions. Mix two teaspoons dry dip mix - straight out of the packet - with mayo and yolks. They're very good, if you like ranch dressing/dip flavor. The kids loved them. I'm giving it 4 stars do to the typo and unnecessary confusion of what should be an easy recipe.

Seems like ANOTHER typo......what a surprise! Do you really think that 2 teaspoons of prepared ranch added to 2/3 c mayo is going to make any kind of a flavor difference??? I am sure this recipe calls for 2 t. dry ranch MIX......NOT prepared first! I'm sure these deviled eggs would be pretty good if prepared like that......
