Me and my family like o try new things, and this Paella was so good. Yes the Saffron is very expensive so we left it out but the dish was great and we will have it again

An ounce of saffron? At U$10.00 a gram, and 28 grams to the ounce, Hummm, let me see.

1oz of saffron at Costco would set you back 156.00 I figure with the rest of the ingredients you are probably looking at around 300-400 to make this, also you will need to invite about 1000 of your friends over to eat it since that is how much you can feed.

Either there is a mistake in the recipe or you need to have $450 to make this Paella recipe! I am guessing there is an error but am not sure how much saffron I should use. Help!!
