    DELICIOUS!! The whole family loved this recipe, and my husband raved about it. I followed the recipe exactly, but I added cooked/seasoned hamburger meat and additional vegetable stock. I also added a small can (6 oz of V8 juice due to the addition of the meat - this kept the consistency more like soup instead of stew. We will DEFINITELY be having this again!!

    I added Panchetta to the soup, and extra tomatoes. It was very simple but excellent taste. Spinach or tiny meatballs would be good also. So many possibilities.

    5 Star! This soup is testimony of simple ingredients delivering delicious flavor! All that you would expect from a Pasta e Fagioli. A nice meal to bring to a friend or family. Soothing and light. Freshly grated parmesan cheese on each individual bowl prior to serving enhances the already wonderful flavor. For a meal serve with a mixed green salad and bread.

    My family loves this soup. I did not add the celery because my husband picks it out but it was absolutely wonderful! I made a huge pot and froze it in individual size bowls. It defrost and cooks perfectly in the microwave in minutes for a quick and easy lunch or dinner!

    so good! i added an extra cup of water but it was perfect with the taste and little kick from the red pepper. definitely something i want on stock in my home!

    I really enjoyed this soup. I think I might have added a pinch of sage but all in all this soup is fabulous! I'm craving it again!
