Super easy. The dressing is very tasty. I added grilled chicken and made it a complete meal.

Great recipe again Neelys!! I have made it twice each time my grocery store didn't have an ingredient, the first time I substituted spinach for arugula and the second time they were out of chives which I just left out. Still great! I did put the dressing on the side each time and just spooned it onto the salad.

The salad is simple but good. The dressing is VERY easy and delicious -- even my kids liked it. This makes a lot so we had this two days in a row (and I feed 6 people each day. Definitely worth trying. I used a tube of tomato paste rather than opening a can for such a small amount.

I liked the toppers for the salad, very tasty combination. However if I make this again I will use a lighter dressing like balsamic. I thought the Neeley's dressing here weighed down the salad without adding much flavor. If you do choose to try the dressing recipe, this recipe made a LOT of dressing. Halving the recipe would probably be sufficient if I did it again.

I love the dressing, full of flavor and easy to make. Next time I make it I'm going to use low fat sour cream and low fat mayo. Save some calories and should not affect the taste too much.

I tried this recipe today using spinach instead of arugula, as the arugula at my grocery store looked rather wilted. Also, I used only 1/2 the amt. of mayo, as I am not usually a fan. I added a pinch of dried dill to the dressing, too. I only made a 1/2 recipe of the dressing, and it made a full 8 oz. of dressing, so I will definitely be using it the next few days. That dressing is truly delicious, smells like a BBQ potato chip with the smoked paprika in it. This is a recipe I will make over and over, as it was really simple but made an absolutely wonderful and satisfying main course. Thank you to the Neelys, as you are a joy to watch, and the recipes are crowd-pleasers.

I just happened to catch this on TV while looking for a salad for Easter dinner. Even the "meat and potato" crew in my family loved it. The salad combined with the dressing just worked perfectly together. I will definately be making this again.

have just made the dressing and will put salad together tomorrow for Easter dinner. we are in texas so may NEED to add an avacado to the mix!!
our son and daughter in law are leaving tomorrow for a 2-4 year stint in tennessee!!! they were married in june and hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their house...making all of the fixings AND the turkey!! it was all perfect and we are ALL going to miss their good cooking....altho a road trip to tennessee will be happening soon!!!! they will celebrate Easter with us tomorrow and then board the plane for their new adventure!! they were both born and bred in texas but have already made a few trips to tennessee to get their bearings and are looking forward to it....the job opportunity was too good to pass up!!
soooo after watching your show this morning, I decided to get them ready for tennessee with the salad...think it will be a great compliment to our meal. the show this morning was great and thought the dressing looked great so thought that was a "sign" to do a tennessee receipe!!!
we are coming to memphis or actually germantown in may for a wedding so may try to find your restaurant.....need to see how that tennessee bar b que compares to that of TEXAS!!!!!! will do another review tomorrow after the fam all chows down and see how the salad goes over!!!!!
