yum, yum, yum this recipe was fantastic. Was looking for a recipe with green beans and new potatoes. I watch the Neelys show and took their advice and added precooked New Potatoes to this, with one extra tbls butter and 1/3 cup white wine. You got a winner here. Remember as the Neelys say take it and make it your own. Thanks happy in Ohio

I made this dish for my church dinner. Everyone loved them. I wife loved them for the spice, a teaspoon of red pepper goes a long way. I did forget to add the tomatoes but it still turn out well.

I forgot the white wine so I added a little olive oil but it turned out good. I will use this again and use the wine the next time.

This recipe was ok but nothing special. I was expecting a lot more.

Many people in my family are not big green bean fans. After testing this recipe with some finicky eaters, they enjoyed it very much so. The shallots, wine and basil give the green beans such great flavor! It is also very quick to make.

This recipe is great, very simple even for a non cook like me. Lots of flavor. I used frozen green beans and it was still good. I only used one bag...and the beans are gone after two days. I will definitely use this recipe again.

I felt the amount of red pepper flakes called for would overpower this recipe so I reduced the amount to 1/2 tsp resulting as a compliment to this side dish. Take note when reading some of the other reviews, ratings were excellent with additions to this recipe.
