This is the best recipe, and is my go-to recipe from now on! I adjusted the recipe some with flavorings and extracts to suit our taste---although not much, and added the pecans directly to the dry ingredients as oppose to distributing over the pancakes while they cooked. My husband and I just love these pancakes better than any restaurant!!!

I've never made homemade pancakes before but these were amazing! They were so light and fluffy & they were very easy to make. I also made the syrup & I have to say its better than any bottled syrup i've ever eaten....I am going to start making it by the bottle to keep in the house, I will deff be making both of these on a regular basis!

Loved them! My kids left theire plate clean. They are fluffy, tasty and the recipe is very easy to follow with simple ingredients. This is going to be a Sunday tradition in my home.

Awesome! I was a little worried because the batter was so thick, but they turned out to be the BEST, most 'melt in your mouth' pancakes I have made. I skipped the pecanss but will add blueberries next time~

The buttermilk + pecans made for a great pancake. The syrup was pretty good too. It was okay tasting, very easy to make, and was nice eating a syrup for once w/o a bunch of preservatives and ingredients in it.

I love these pancakes. I was looking for my first buttermilk pancake recipe to make for my kids, and this hit the spot. I opted to use chocolate chips instead of the pecans, and it still worked out great. They taste better than any pancake you can buy or get from a mix, by a landslide! These are so fluffy, smooth and delicious. Thanks Neelys!

Sooo good! Best pancake I've ever eaten and I've ate ALOT of pancakes.So light,buttery & fluffy.I just used regular syrup and they were still awesome! Imagine adding toppings.5 STAR RECIPE!

This recipe is a winner. The pancakes are light and fluffy and the pecans give a nice crunchy texture. The syrup is also the perfect addition. Just be sure to SIMMER it as it cooks or you will end up with a big gob of goo!
