Really tasty, a nice surprise for a standard side dish. Be careful with the cayenne pepper since a little goes a long way. I bought a fresh jar recently and it has a kick to it!

This is oh my goodness delicious. It is corn season so fresh picked corn makes it especially good. We have made this several times and are making it again tonight with steak.

I used frozen corn and the family thought it was very good. A nice little twist other than butter, salt and pepper. The cayenne gave it a slight kick. A keeper!

Loved this corn! It was my job to bring a corn dish to our Thanksgiving dinner and I've been looking for a good dish and tried a few. I cut this recipe in half the first time just to try it and it was very easy and quick to make. My daughter loved it, I barley got any because she ate all of it. This definetly goes in my recipe box for the future. Since I'm making it for the whole family I might cut the cayenne pepper in half for those who don't like spicy because this can be a very spicy dish, but tastey though.

I was so nervous about even trying this one, I'll not doubt the Neely's again. This was awesome.

I loved this recipe, but I did have to change it up quite a bit. I used frozen corn, garlic because I didn't have any shallots and I used bacon fat to cook the corn. Also, I know it may seem like a lot, but my husband and I both like sweet so we added about another Tbsp of brown sugar and after all the changes we really enjoyed it. I used bacon fat because that's what we used to fry corn with in the South. Next time I think I am going to use shallots because the garlic came through just a tad bit stronger than I think it should have. We had it with Big Daddy's fried catfish that was also very good.
