Much lighter than I expected. Loved by all, even the child that doesn't like vegetables.

This was so good! I used the little baby orange snacking tomatos and I cut them in half. It had such a light fresh taste. My hubby really like this too. It reminds us both of Insalata Caprese which is the fresh motz cheese, tomato and fresh basil drizzled with olive oil. I will for sure be making this again. In fact I'm going to buy some more grape tomatos so I can make again today.

This was delicious. I whole shallot is too much though. So start out putting in one section first, taste and then decide if you want to use the other section. It all depends on how big the shallot is. But otherwise very flavorful. I could not find yellow tomatoes but summer has just started, I will make this again in July so I can use both colors.

This is one of the best salads I've ever had! I made it for Father's Day because I wanted something light for myself and my husband, who would never make anything like this for himself, absolutely LOVED it! I actually had big heirloom tomatoes that I cut into pieces and it was just amazing!!! I kept the dressing on the side so everyone could pour as much as they wanted. So simple and SO delicious!!!!!!

One of the best salads I've ever had and so easy to make. This salad is something you would expect at a fine eating restaurant.

Making for the third time in a week for tomorrow - really easy and really good. A nice switch from slaw or potato salad as a side for any grilled meal.

Nice unique salad that will go with a lot of entrees that need a lighter accompaniment. You don't need a lot of dressing. The basil is key.
