Ingredients
- 12 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 (10-ounce) bag good quality kettle potato chips
Directions
Stir 8 ounces chocolate until melted in a medium glass bowl set over a saucepan with lightly simmering water (not touching the bottom of the bowl). Remove from the heat and stir in the remaining 4 ounces chocolate. Cook's Note: This will cool the chocolate down and help it set.
Dip each potato chip halfway into the melted chocolate. Place on a waxed paper-lined baking tray and place in the refrigerator until hardened, about 20 to 45 minutes.

Salty and sweet and amazing. This recipe is delicious and appealing to the eye. It would be great for entertaining. Plus, it was easy and I have had trouble tempering chocolate in the past. For some reason, the Neely's simple directions worked and my chocolate tempered perfectly and quickly like it is supposed to without the use of a candy thermometer.

I'm inspired to even make it healthier by dipping dried apricots in the chocolate, or 'raisinettes' homemade. I will try this soon and report back. And, I will make this with dairy-free choc as my toddler granddaughter is allergic to dairy, but she loves her potato chips and choc chips!
