This was so good! I was hesitant to make it but I am a huge fan of coconut so I thought I should try it. I followed the recipe, however, to make it kid-friendly, I left out the alcohol. I will make this again!

i didn't have coconut liqueur on hand so i used malibu coconut rum instead. this was absolutely DELICIOUS! even though i put in a generous amount of alcohol, i would say the quantities given really only yield 2 servings. thanks neelys!

I made this coconut hot chocolate for my daughter when she came home from school and she absolutely loved it. She said, "This cocoa is AWESOME" It really is. It was also symbolic of us living up north so we were wanting cocoa, but we're leaving for a trip to Key West, so the coconut was so refreshing. Thanks for a great new way to make hot chocolate.

How could I make this kid friendly? Omit the cconut liquor and maybe add some coconut milk, or would it still be good? Tell me what you think.

We made this for Sunday brunch in August. All of us were hesitant about drinking in the summer, but this was delicious. Hands down the best hot chocolate our whole family has ever had. We can't wait for winter to really enjoy with the cold weather.

My husband and I loved this. Even though I 'm not a white chocolate fan and prefer the dark this was out of this world. It was a cross between a custard and eggnog to me. My husband didn't care what it was a cross of he drank the whole pot full.
