This is much easier than I imagined to make. The presentation is fabulous. I took it to a party and people absolutely raved about it! One thing I did wrong however is pushed the cookie dough all the way to the edge of the pan which made it go over edge of pan during cooking. Be sure to leave 1/2 inch from edge of pan.

It is a great cookie, but I found with a 12 inch pan and two rolls of cookie dough I had a run over mess in my oven. I also used white chocolate ganache, my daughter favorite and it worked well. I think if using two rolls of dough a big pan or just one roll for a 12 inch pan. I will make this again, I think it will be a big hit and work and other gatherings.

Wanted to respond to another reviewer - the pan used was a pizza pan (no holes with an edge on it. Wonderful - the Neelys have fast become one of my favorite shows to watch.

I made the cookie pizza for a rundraiser - I can't wait to taste it! And it was super easy! I used the pizza pan with the holes and just put in on a piece of aluminum foil. Thanks Neelys!

I just caught the end of the show when they were eating the cookie. didn't get to see them make it. looked really good and decided to make if for dinner. i made it using a pizza stone. Did not have edges on the stone. used 2 pkgs of cookie dough as the recipe said and the cookie ran off all over the oven and in to the bottom of the oven. was quite a mess but the end product was still good. Did their pizza pan have edges on it? i've made a similar recipe that used one pkg of cookie dough. don't know if i should have done that or used something with edge. This is the first recipe from them that i have had any problem with . Wish i had watched it being made. Can someone who saw it tell me what pan they used? susan
