Real good, but I added a couple more Tbls of both flour and cornmeal. Also a Tbls of sugar. That really set them apart! Deep fried in canola oil and they were fantastic!

Very easy and tasty too! I added a half cup of diced andouille and a Tablespoon of thyme to the mix. They brown up very nicely and quick too. Great recipe! We'll have these again. Do they freeze well?

Easy and great, what a perfect way to use up leftover corn! My husband and son are big fans of anything that you can put syrup on for dinner.

Easy to make, quick. The finished product was great. Served with grape jelly also some honey. Will make again but will cut back on the amount of cornmeal used. Next time will make them smaller. Very tasty!

they come out a little like pancakes, very doughy. very very tasty tho and easy to make... for a healthier/lower fat version, i use egg substitute, whole wheat flour, subbed fat free half and half for the buttermilk and added a little dollop of fat free sour cream to that and shook it to get the tang of buttermilk (could also just sub lower fat/fat free buttermilk, and used margarine. i wish i would have cooked them on a nonstick flat top griddle pan like i do my pancakes... even less fat/calories then!

These fritters were the best I have ever tasted and so incredibly easy to make. Fresh corn cut off the cob made them absolutely delicious! Paired with your clam chowder it was a wonderful meal!

I've made these before, however today I didn't have shallots or green onions on hand, I did have a vidalia onion, so I grated half in the mix and then fried. This was good also.
