I thought this recipe was awsome. My niece in-law made another recipe for cranberry chutney and it didn't come close. This is definitely a keeper (something different when your tired of the same old, same old.

Pat and Gina , I love your show and all your recipes. Can the chutney be made with "Craisins" instead of the frozen cranberries. If not, can you add a half cup of honey or a half cup of orange marmalade to the frozen cranberries? I know your recipes are unique. This recipe is a bit tart. This recipe is more for those that don't mind the tart taste. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad I made this prior to Thanksgiving dinner. I'm not sure what I missed out on but this is very tart. Sorry Gina & Pat. I usually love your stuff. :(

Made this last week when I served some chicken, family loved the appels mixed in with the cranberries. Grandkids don't like onions so I omitted the shallots. Making a double batch for Turkey Day. This also works well with Fresh Cranberries.
