Wanting my husband to eat a better lunch at work instead of going to the drive thru. We love this! The added bounus was my 10 year old boy took it in his lunch to school and loved it as well!

I've eaten this for lunch twice. I don't know if it was the brand of provolone I bought, but I found the cheese a little overpowering. I would definitely make it again, but use a milder cheese and add a little more mayo and possibly some chopped up boiled eggs.

This made a great light, yet filling turkey sandwich! I think next time I will try adding some apple and chopped alfalfa sprouts, as I think that would add the perfect umph! Thank you Neelys!

I changed this recipe a little bit by omitting grapes and adding sundried tomatoes instead, and I used crusty french bread instead of whole grain bread . I also used chopped deli sliced turkey meat instead of real turkey and it still came out delicious! The secret is the crunch of the almonds and celery with the creaminess of the mayo and mustard. This is a great base to which you can use your imagination and change to your taste buds. Great recipe!! Even my husband who hates deli meat loved this sandwich.

I used chicken instead of turkey and it was awesome! I used Ina's recipe for roatsing the chicken (2 large skin on bone in breasts rubbed with olive oil and sprinkled with salt and pepper which are cooked at 350 for about 40 mins. I also added one chopped up Gala apple as I love apple in my chicken salad. It was such a great recipe I will make it again and again. I also found that the longer it sat in the fridge the better it tasted. Although it only lasted 2 days in our fridge!

The almonds and grapes really give this sandwich a great texture! The smoked turkey gave it a nice flavor, and overall it felt like a perfect light sandwich for company or just an in-home meal. I also tried this sandwich on french sandwich rolls, and that was also delicious. My picky husband gave it a thumbs up!

Made this for guests of lunch on toasted G/F corn loaf. Everyone really enjoyed it! I had to substitute canned green grapes as was without fresh grapes. Will make this often. Thank you for sharing.
