no idea what folks did to this to get a couple "no flavor" ratings? I actually cut back on the herbs a bit simply because I liked the dressing so much "as is" I didn't want to overpower it with the herbs. I also used a good white wine vinegar since I did not have champagne vinegar. This is different from the "traditional bean salad" but very good. I put in 1/2 tsp of hot sauce in the dressing though.

A really good bean salad! I couldn't find champagne vinegar so I substituted some other vinegar. And I had to make it minus the yellow wax beans but it was still delicious. My boyfriend loved it as well.

This recipe is fabulous! Have made it several times, family loves it. The flavor from the dressing is outstanding. I did not have a lemon so I just substituted extra vinegar. I will be making this dressing for all my salads. Thank you Neelys for another winning recipe.

This is the best bean salad I have ever made. I don't get the one star reviews of no taste. This is almost like a bean salsa. The dressing is perfectly seasoned. I did substitute white wine vinegar since I did not have champagne vinegar and it turned out sensational. In fact, I had to give out packages to my guests since they loved it so much. Thanks Neelys for yet again another delicious and soulful recipe. I love your show and am starting to gain weight from all the good food I keep making for my family and guests. Keep it coming.

Could not find the Champagne Vinaigrette and substituted with White Wine Vinegar. Do not recommend this substitution at all. When I find the proper ingrediants will try again.

I forgot the yellow wax beans and didn't miss them. This was outstanding, also couldn't find champagne vinegar and my white balsamic vinegar worked just fine! New twist to the old 3 bean salad.
