    I made this for our Gourmet Group and they raved about it. Since green tomatoes were out of season in our stores we made it with "slightly green" ones and it was delicious. We had to share the recipe with our friends and we will make the tomatoes often.

    I made this for the first time for in-laws recently. It was fantastic!!. Everyone was amazed at how good green tomatoes could be. I made the Buttermilk Dipping Sauce the day before and it was wonderful. I'm glad I did because it thickened a little more overnight. This recipe is a keeper.

    These tomatoes taste and look great! My 7 year old asked for seconds! The mayonnaise came out too watery. I couldn't get the apple cider and brown sugar to turn into a thick syrup. Everything was delicious despite the watery mayo.

    I made this along with the buttermilk dipping sauce for an appetizer at a BBQ party I was having. This was easy to make, and the tomatoes were so light and crunchy. YUM!

    Now I know what to do with all the extra green tomatoes from my garden!!! :-

    ALSO - I also had some whole dill pickles that I sliced the same thickness and prepared the same way along with the sauce. This was really good too.

    My husband brought home some green tomatoes and asked for fried green tomatoes. I found this recipe and all he could say while he was eating was these are awesome. Repeatedly. I had to improvise slightly because I found myself without cayenne pepper so I just added tobasco to the egg and milk mixture.

    OMG!! I made these last night. Had some friends over, there was 7 of total made a double batch only 1 left when done with dinner. Everyone raved. My brother in law couldn't stay away. Best we ever had. They want me to make them again tonight.
