I made these Peanut Butter Bites. And they were delicious. I used Milk Chocolate Chips instead of Semi-sweet pieces. They were so easy to make, next time I will double the recipe.

This recipe is simply awesome! Everyone refers to these as buckeyes, however if you look at the ingredients in buckeyes they are quite different. This is by far better than any "buckeye" recipe I've made or had before. We just love them!

I did make one change, instead of using semi-sweet chocolate, we've replaced it with chocolate candy coating. This can be found in the baking isle usually, and is cheaper than chocolate here. I melt it in a bowl over water at a near boil, and dip them in it. The chocolate candy coating gives it a chocolate taste, but also more of a crunch (better texture to match the soft peanut butter. It's great!

These are really fantastic! They are easy to make and very good. Don't be afraid to make them for the first time. I have made them several times and people will ask me to make these when I do candy and cookie trays at Christmas.

These were tasty, but the texture seemed a little off to me. I thought they would be creamier. I'm pretty sure I figured out why. Next time I will sift the powdered sugar and very slowly incorporate it with the peanut butter. It should state this in the recipe. Otherwise the mixture is crumbly and difficult to form into balls. However, the flavor was good, so I will give them another try. The kids helped me make them, so some were bigger than others. I definitely prefer the smaller size.

These are awesome!! These were gobbled up by everyone, even my future daughter-in-law who is a vegan and is always happy when she can have something that isn't made especially for her.
Some felt that the bites were too big so I will make them a little smaller the next thousand times that I make these.

OH MY GOODNESS, if you are a peanut butter cup freak, like our family, this is the best ever. MORE peanut butter to chocolate ratio----I served it to approximately 20 people and they all wanted more.......will be my staple to bring for cookouts and parties along with another side. Everyone thought they were so decadent and believed it must have taken hours to perfect.

These were great....but if you do plan to make them again make them smaller instead of 20 do 35 it make all the difference. They are so much better and I would rather have these then a peanut butter cup. Oh and you are not suppose to leave them out to get warm thats probaly why noone ate them.
