These peanut butter bites were the PITS!! I followed the recipe exactly and they were too soft to even pick up. I'll use my mom's recipe even though it's more time consuming.

These are very good. Have enjoyed them all my life in a little different way. Mom made them with left over cake icing instead of the confectioner's sugar - same thing. Love them

Great treat! I used half the sugar and they were still amazing. Also completely covered mine in chocolate, I mean, why not? My thanks to the Neelys.

For years, I have been making peanut butter balls. Same thing - only I cover the peanut butter completely with dark chocolate. My family and friends go crazy.

Of course they are tasty...have been years. In Ohio, they are almost completely chocolate covered and called a buckeye. Age old recipe...............nothing new!

I made these Peanut Butter Bites. And they were delicious. I used Milk Chocolate Chips instead of Semi-sweet pieces. They were so easy to make, next time I will double the recipe.

This recipe is simply awesome! Everyone refers to these as buckeyes, however if you look at the ingredients in buckeyes they are quite different. This is by far better than any "buckeye" recipe I've made or had before. We just love them!

I did make one change, instead of using semi-sweet chocolate, we've replaced it with chocolate candy coating. This can be found in the baking isle usually, and is cheaper than chocolate here. I melt it in a bowl over water at a near boil, and dip them in it. The chocolate candy coating gives it a chocolate taste, but also more of a crunch (better texture to match the soft peanut butter. It's great!

These are really fantastic! They are easy to make and very good. Don't be afraid to make them for the first time. I have made them several times and people will ask me to make these when I do candy and cookie trays at Christmas.
