Well it was good but I couldn't figure out what to do with the excess water plus you have to add the other ingredients. I have a family of six and half of them like it and the other have didn't I really think the color had a lot to do with it. But I will cook it again but not to often.

I had seen this made on television the other day and knew right away I had to try it! It is a wonderful side dish with great flavor and simple to make....This will be a great alternative for a side at the next BBQ.

We loved it! If your fish or turkey burgers are a little dry or flavorless, this will make you forget all about that! The bacon is a great touch, of course. Thanks, Gina.

It looked and smelled great...I made a BBQ batch and one without...I almost enjoyed the batch without the BBQ sauce but the vinegar took over after 1 serving I did not wish to save the left overs, as I knew I would not eat it.

The Batch with the BBQ sauce was disgusting and we immedietly discarded it.

I loved this alternative to what can be a boring vegetable. I did not use the bacon and use only half a head of cabbage. The half was more than enough for six people. It is better the next day.

I simmered it untill it looked liked the tv version. This made it great! My entire family made happy plates; my husband, my mother, and 19 year old daughter..and especially me. Good way to get this dark, rich vegitable in the diet!
