Actually, I would not have given this recipe 5 stars as is, but, with some improvements it rates among the best wings I have had. I am partial to hot spicy wings so having made half a batch with Gina's recipe I determined it needed to be kicked up. I coated the wings lightly with cayenne pepper before cooking on the grill. While cooking on the grill, I lathered the wings with garlic salt. I improved the glaze by adding a couple teaspoons of sriracha sauce, (a hot pepper garlic sauce. If you don't know what it is you have been missing out on spicy heat! The wings were awesome, a nice sweet heat with the honey and mustard, not overwhelming, but a Superbowl hit!!! Gina, if you read this you will change your recipe!!!

I have been searching for a good wing recipe for a long time and I have finally found it! These wings were amazing. They were juicy, and tender and the glaze gives them such good flavor. I did lesson the hot sauce to 2 tbs so it wouldn't be too hot for my kids. I also added garlic in the marinade as well as the glaze. I can't wait to make them again, my whole family went crazy.

These are delicious and to die for! I made these over the weekend to go with the Neelys calamari recipe and they were wonderful. The glaze gives it a great flavor. 1/4cup of hot sauce does sound like a lot, but they weren't hot at all. Very very good and will be making again.

I haven't used it YET but it sounds extremely HOT with 1/4 c. of hot sauce. I have a very low threshold when it comes to hot food. My mouth lights up! : I think considering I have never made this recipe, I will cut the hot sauce until I either perform a taste test or use this recipe for the first time.

First time I made recipe as is. Found it a bit much. I now use the marinade as a glaze in the last few minutes of cooking and omit the butter glaze. Made following additions to marinade: Juice of 1/2 lime, few drops of soy sauce and splash of white wine. My husband can't get enough of these wings. Also, use your recipes for Pat's Roast Beef and Gina's Perfect Roast Chicken. You guys are GREAT! Thanks.
