    delicous, letting it sit when finished and letting it marinade in its own ingrediants makes it so gooooooood.

    This dish is satisfying to the stomach and the soul, my husband would not allow me to deviate from the recipe at all and I'm happy that we followed this recipe down to a science. The time frame that this recipe calls for is well worth the wait! This recipe combined with a little love will surely put you on the MAP! Bon'Apetit;

    OMG! I wish i could give this 10 stars! Gina girl you have out done yourself with this recipe. Every time I make it I just have to slap my self for making something soooo good. Even my picky 8 year old daughter loves them. She said "mommy you make the best oxtails ever". For those who rated this recipe less than five stars maybe it because you didn't follow the recipe duh!!

    Made this delicious dish after watching you make it this week.... Very, very good and the noodles were perfect too.....one of the best winter meals ever... My Mom used to make many different meals using oxtails including soup & stew...back then they were 25 cents per pound I just paid $4.99....... Thanks Neelys

    This is a wonderful recipe. It has a wonderful flavor and really a comfort food you will enjoy. I to was sceptical about the large amount of wine it calls for but most of it cooks down leaving only the fabulous taste. I also recommnend using a good wine you would enjoy drinking. You won't be disappointed with this wonderful recipe.

    I followed this recipe to the letter and it was FABULOUS. I had to be home all day for a construction project so I got the ingredients in advance. I had the time to cook it low and slow for hours and we were well rewarded. It took about 5.5 hours on my cooktop. Surprisingly the carrots hadn't turned to mush.

    I used a whole bottle of Cabernet Sauvingnon from Marshal's Winery here in Washington State. It was not overpowering to the dish.

    My husband said this oxtail stew ranks up there as one of the best meals he ever had. I agree.
