    I am so glad I made this....it just tastes wonderful!!! I did bake it about five minutes more just to get the topping a liitle more golden also I added a touch of vanilla in the topping. Just loved this cobbler. I will make this many more times.You could also do this with peaches, just about any fruit...... thanks once again.

    Absolutely delicious! I don't bake a lot so I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out amazing. Super easy. Definitely a little on the sweet side. I topped it with some vanilla ice cream and it was perfect.

    I went over a friends house and she had two pear trees, so i picked some and decided i wanted a cobbler. I came home and searched for a good recipe and i came upon this one which turned out delicious. I didn't add the apples had enough pears nor did i make the topping. The cobbler was enough calories. The crust was great better than i had expected.

    I was a little skeptical of the pears, but when I made the dish...WOW! It was so amazing. My family couldn't get enough. They said the only thing they didn't like about it was that there wasn't enough! GREAT DISH!

    Easy; however crust didn't rise. Way too much allspice--left a definite aftertaste. I would use 1/8 tsp. or just a dash.
