I was pleasantly suprised by this cobbler and the topping was so 'custardy'. Great recipe! Thanks Gina and Pat.

This was very easy to make and was so tasty! This was the first cobbler I had made from scratch by myself and it was great. My husband loved it and thought I was a baking whiz! Thank you so much for this recipe!

perfect - off the charts rating! I made your recipe yesterday & they ate it all, down to the last crumb, no leftovers! just the right amount of sweet is what I love about this recipe & it won't throw your waistline out of wack :0. don't know if chefs actually read their ratings, but if you do I love watching the interaction between the 2 of you... fun, flirty & sexy which definitely transfers to how you create your food - love it!

This was easy and so good! We were fighting over the last piece at Thanksgiving! I didn't have All Spice so I added a very little bit more of Cinnamon. I liked the whip cream, but thought it was too sweet with the cobbler. I will be making this again and again...

This recipe was easy as pie! I think I will only use apples next time, the pears weren't bad, its just a preference thing for me and my family. It was very sweet so I may use a little less brown sugar as well, 1/2 a cup should be sufficient. Served this with french vanilla ice cream for Thanksgiving and it was great.

This was a very tasty cobbler. Mrs. Neely loved the way you flavored the apple/pears. But my topping never rose? It must have been something I did wrong but followed your directions. I will try it again and see what happens.

Perfect balance of tart and sweet fruits, and the topping was delicious. I will be making this again!!

Came out good the 1st time. I think I will also use just apples though, my pears didn't cook all the way through. And honestly you can't taste the difference between pear and apple. The only reason I knew which was which was because of the slightly crunchy pears!! I also wouldn't go with all that nutmeg in the topping, with the spices in the cobbler and in the whipped topping it was a little much. This is def my go to cobbler recipe though!!
