This was a very tasty drink for a girls night. My friends loved it.

I also think Susan's question was an excellent one. I know that some people can't drink grapefruit juice for reasons other than indigestion. Grapefruit juice interacts with some common medications and many people are instructed by their Doctor or Pharmacist to avoid it altogether. I think this drink would be good with orange juice or maybe even lemonade.

Responding to Charnal - I have been able to find pink sugar (and other colors, too at Michaels - a craft store - in the cake decorating aisle. Good luck! Haven't tried recipe yet, but plan to as it looks great!

This drink is very refreshing! It is perfect for a girls night in.

I made the pink sugar by adding pink neon food coloring (found at Wal-Mart to some white sugar in my food processor. Just pulse it until combined.

Since she uses a citrus juice, it is probably what gives the drink one of it's key flavors. So UNLESS you are unable to digest citrus due to the acidic nature of it...then try orange, lemon etc.

It's not a bomb. Just try juices that YOU like. Make it your own.

This recipe sounds delicious however, I can't have grapefruit juice. What can I substitute grapefruit juice with? Open to suggestions.
