My daughter has made this 2 Thanksgiving's in a row. It is an awesome cheesecake. So moist and creamy. I wasn't sure on doing the water bath but no water gets in and it really makes a difference in the moisture of the cheesecake. Thank you to the Neely's from the Neely's.( No relation and one of these day's we are going to go to your BBQ place.

Best baked cheesecake I've ever had! I doubled the amount of spices called for in the recipe and honestly it was just perfect.

First time I ever gave a cheesecake a waterbath too. I was a worried about water getting in and ruining the whole works, but I knew I had a high quality springform pan, so then all I had to worry about was wrapping the pan properly. I set the pan on the extra long, heavy duty aluminum foil, and then brought up the sides carefully and molded it to the pan. I made sure all of the foil came up to the top of the pan. It worked like a charm! Thanks Neely's!

Made for Thanksgiving and was a little disappointed. The taste was good but I felt it was a little sweet. I compared it to other similar recipes and this one had the most sugar. In addition, the water bath is suppose to stop the cake from cracking but it cracked anyway. The foil added to outside did not stop the water from seeping into the crust. Therefore, the crust got soggy. I think I will try Paula Deen's next time.

This was amazing. Having never made a cheesecake before, I was slightly daunted. On Thanksgiving Day, I crossed my fingers when I set it on the table and began to slice. I followed the recipe precisely, but was still afraid it might be oozey and loose. But it wasn't: it was DELICIOUS!!!

Went to serve the cheescake and the crust would not come out of the pan. Very bad because the cake had not crust when served.

This was absolutely amazing. My whole family raved about it for days. I have tried multiple recipes and this one was not too rich, set just right and was delicious. Also I used 2 fat free cream cheese packages and 2 1/3 less fat to try and decrease the calories. Also it baked for 1 hr and 30 minutes and it turned out great. Definitely a new tradition in our thanksgiving feast. Thanks!

I tried the pumpkin and it reminded me of baby food. But the end result was anything less than finger licking good!! Would definitely do this recipe again

This is pretty good. But cooking time is off. At the top of the recipe it says cook time 1 hr 25 minutes but in the recipe 1 hr 20 minutes. Of course I did not notice the first one until now. It did need at least an extra 5 minutes as it was pretty soft even though the top/center seemed fairly firm before I removed it from the oven. I had found other recipes that included a bit of sour cream and I think this would benefit from that addition. This is a HUGE cheesecake and would probably feed 16! Having another Thanksgiving on Sunday. I will try a different recipe to compare the 2.
