Delicious and really quick! I used fresh angel hair pasta and only used a couple tbsp butter, the rest of the recipe was exactly as written. Will make again and again.

Based on previous reviews... here are some tips. I made the sauce first (doubled the amount since we like saucy pasta dishes with the garlic, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, and wine- reduced. Then I cooked my shrimp with the shell on to really flavor them. Once removed, I added the al dente pasta to finish cooking while I peeled the shrimp. Added them back along with cut fresh spinach (in place of the parsley and lemon zest. This was really really good! A little fresh grated parm-romano cheese on top and we ate like royalty!

This turned out great, added minced onions, and used about half as much pasta, will be having this again.

Excellent flavor and I had fresh shrimp which makes all the difference in the world. ONE BIG CHANGE i will make next time - TOO much pasta!!! I would cut in half....and cook angel hair last. Cut butter down a bit....maybe add sun dried tomatoes? Overall FANTASTIC recipe tho!!! I used fresh cilantro btw....fantastic!!!

I've had something similar to this recipe but instead of using parsley I use baby spinach leaves, some chicken stock and then when it's almost ready and the chicken stock has reduced down I put in some grated parmesan cheese. It's awesome!

This had no flavor. I made it twice thinking I needed to add more garlic and it was the same. I think 1 pound of angel hair was too much. We ened up adding jar Alfredo sauce to it to make it eatable.

Loved this recipe! Especially the addition of the zest to the pasta. I never did that before, and it added a lovely flavor. I always try to use whole grain pasta, so my only substitution was whole grain thin spaghetti instead of angel hair. I am going to use this sauce in the future with pasta. Very easy, not greasy and super tasty! Thanks to the Neely's!

This is one of my favorite pasta dishes to make! Its quick, easy and always comes out delicious. I think I've made it about 3 or 4 times for multiple people, and every time its a hit!
The sauce is very light and minimal, which can be a good and a bad thing. I always make more sauce then the recipe calls for to remedy this problem.
I would definitely recommend this dish!
