One of the BEST Shrimp Scampi dishes! The fresh lemon zest pulled all the flavors together. Thank you for sharing your recipe. From Virginia Beach, VA

WINNER! I suggest that people watch the video as the steps in the video don't seem to follow the steps in the recipe. I followed some other people's suggestions and cut back on the lemon. I didn't even bother adding zest. I also sauteed asparagus with the garlic to make this a one dish meal. I cut back on the butter, and did not add the water. The recipe did not need it. Hubby loved it, and while he'll eat almost anything, he can be a harsh critic. This was a fast and easy recipe and will be placed on my rotation list.

Delicious! I did double the wine,a little more pasta water, and added a small amount of flour,as another reviewer suggested. My family is not a fan of lemon, so I added 1 Tbs. and left out the zest.

I'll have to criticize this one. Beware the lemon, 1 is way too much. You'll be puckering your lips throughout dinner. You only need a hint of lemon and a white wine on the sweeter side. It makes the dish more tolerable. I've never heard of putting pasta water in the actual sauce.. it made things very starchy.

I just made this dish and it was so good! I halved the recipe since it was just my boyfriend and I. I also added steamed broccoli and used whole wheat angel hair to make it more satisfying. I also don't think the recommended amount of butter is necessary..just a couple tablespoons was perfect! And the red pepper flake was an awesome ingredient. On top of being tasty it was so easy. Definitely making this again soon!

This came out out delicious. Since I am a novice cook I was especially excited that it came out yummy, the shrimp tasted great! The only thing I would change next time is to double the sauce. All novice cooks please try this recipe, it will give you the confidence to keep cooking.

This recipe is awesome. I doubled it, as my family is large. I also used 4 lbs of XL/Jumbo shrimp. This does not make a lot of sauce. I suggest adding extra pasta water and butter to make it saucier, if that's what you like. The lemon juice and lemon zest made it especially tasty. Not overly garlicky...nicely balanced. I don't give high praise often...but this is excellent. I would recommend undercooking the shrimp just a tad, as making a big batch takes a while longer and the shrimp will continue to cook.
