The tomatoes and cheese tasted great. However, the crust did not bake all the way through on the bottom and I even left in over the time limit. It was not soggy but after an extra 15 minutes in the oven my tomatoes and cheese were starting to burn. Probably would not make this one again.

Just tried this recipe and found it to be yummy and easy. I added some thinly slice summer squash and red bellpaper and some queso blanco crumbl;ed over the top. I plan on serving this for company along side of a grilled shrimp dinner!

I cooked this after watching the show it was wonderful. I added feta cheese the last 10 minutes in the oven. My husband loved it. The bottom was a little soggy but will cook it on the stone next time.

Wow. This was spectacular. I had no problem with the doneness of the pie crust. I do have a gas stove, so I cut the heat to 350 and added 5 minutes to the time. I also reduced some balsamic vinegar and drizzled the top with it. Awesome. I found the heirloom, yellow and orange tomatoes at the high-end grocery store near my house. I will make this again, for myself, instead of taking to a July 4th party!

I saw the episode on TV where Gina made this to accompany their BBQ pork chop and have been wanting to try it ever since so I did today. It was delicious...even though I was unable to use yellow tomatoes (could not find them anywhere I just used all red ones...I even forgot the basil, but My family and myself really enjoyed this. I grow tomatoes every year so this will be a great recipe to use for them this summer. Can't wait! Thank you so much...looking forward to more. :

My husband and I grow 20 some tomato plants every year. I love home grown! When I saw this recipe on your show, i thought my husband would like that. He loved it! Asked him the next day what he would like for supper and he said that tomato pie would be good again. Thanks! Love your show!

My pie also was soggy and undercooked on the bottom. It also leaked. I took it out at the right time because it was getting brown on top. I plan to cool it and then place it back in oven on a stone to dry up the bottom. Smells great and looks terrific.
