Hi....... I made this recipe, but had the hardest time finding yellow tomatoes. It turned out to be soggy and the bottom of the pie crust looked like it was not even cooked, did anyone experience the same thing with the pie crust not being cooiked? well guess i won't be making it again, shame cause it looked good.

I made this tonight b/c I happen to have tons of summer tomatoes, basil and a pie crust...so i made this. I had to use shreaded cheese instead of sliced and it still worked. this meal is wonderful!!!

I saw the episode of The Neelys when they made this pie, it looked wonderful on the show and I have been dying to make this. Just made this pie with a minor flavor adjustment. I added garlic puree to the bottom of the pie. It was absolutely wonderful!!! And so easy! I will definately make this again and again. I think it will be a wonderful pie to take to pot luck dinners for a very different dish from the run of the mill dishes everyone brings! I made this as a side dish with fried chicken, grilled rosemary potato logs, green beans, and corn on the cobb! It was a wonderful compliment to the meal! Thanks for sharing this with all of us!!!

I made this dish last night for my family of 6, made two of them and everyone loved it!! It was a big hit. Used this as a side dish with Ginas "greens and beans" Kale recipe and some rosemary chicken from the garden. It was delightful! Tastes just like pizza and could possibly be a meal in itself if I would have added sausage to it. I added this to my recipe box b/c it was that good. Its even better the next day in the microwave.

I really enjoyed this... I alternated tomatoes, zucchini slices, and grated mozz (because it's what I had and the result was delicious. A bit watery, which I suppose is to be expected given that tomatoes & zucchinis are both high in H2O. Easy with a pre-made pie crust- definitely worth making! :

I served this as an appetizer at our 4th of July barbecue and everyone loved it. My husband is not a Basil lover so I used very little in the recepe and then offered it on the side for the rest of us. This recipe is reason enough to grow more tomatoes next year.

We just loved it and have shared the recipe with friends. My husband, who's not a great fan of tomato, raves about it.

I used a fresh red tomato from my garden which reallly added a lot of "fresh" flavor. This was a really tasty recipe, WIll definitely be making it again!

We made this up for Father's Day and it was fantastic. A total hit with everyone. The flavors together were perfect, only thing next time, is gonna try it on an air bake pan for a little more doneness to the bottom of the crust. Otherwise, perfect!
