    I made this last night and it was incredible! My wife doesn't like really spicy food, so I reduced the 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper down to just a pinch. For the hot sauce, I used 1 tbls of shiracha and 1 tbls of Frank's Red hot in the marinade. Added 3 tbls of fresh chopped cilantro to the marinade and 2 tbls of cilantro to the mayo. Didn't bother with the butter sauce, just basted the shrimp with the marinade before putting it on the sandwich. Fantastico!!!

    OMG!!! I am from New Orleans and I have been looking for a grilled shrimp recipe. I love the this recipe. I have cooked it twice and enjoyed it every time and we are having it again soon.

    This was yummy! I didn't have the skewers, so I just threw the shrimp in a cast iron pan to fry. You do have to keep a closer eye on them to make sure they cook, but not overcook. I toasted the bread in the pan too. The butter sauce and the special mayo really make everything come together.

    My fiancé is from New Orleans and he knows Po' Boys. When I saw this recipe, I knew I had to make it for him. It was FANTASTIC and we both loved it. We will be making this again!

    WE LOVED THIS! It was my first Po' Boy and I cant wait to have more. My daughters friends, who don't like shrimp, loved this. We seasoned a grill pan on the stove with the marinade before cooking. My son ate just the shrimp without all the fixings and loved it. AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! Thank you Neelys.

    I made these but I didnt have shrimp so I fried up some catfish nuggets still used pickled mayo and marinated the fish nuggets in butter sauce. It was great!!! this will be a longlasting classic in our home

    Had this for dinner last night ...OMG, it was fabulous!!! I cut the hot sauce in half. Sorry I have a sensitive tummy. But it was yummy.
    I am going to make them for the Super Bowl Party we are having.
    Can't wait..this is GREAT!!!!

    Just had this for supper tonight and the sweet pickle mayonnaise is the best. We didn't have time to marinate & grill the shrimp so we just sauteed it in garlic butter and it was still excellent. Thanks for a new favorite.
