    My first time making apple sauce and my boys LOVED it. I added a extra sugar and a tad more cinnamon (my boys love lots of cinnamon. We think its better then the top brand in the store. Thanks for this fast easy recipe. Its going to be used in our home a lot.

    We chose this recipe after a morning of picking applesdue to its use of apple cider instead of water ...wow! what a great taste! (and we even skipped Grandma's recipe to try this one! Thanks!

    Best applesauce we've made at home. Followed recipe exactly. Will be very hard to go back to jarred variety after tasting this. Thanks, Pat and Gina!

    This was super easy. I used the apples I picked from the tree last week. One of them was a mutsu and I don't remember what the other kind was. Delicious and totally worth taking 15 minutes to make instead of pouring out of the jar!

    I MADE THIS FOR DINNER & SERVED @ ROOM TEMPERATURE, MY SON SAID THIS WAS THE BEST APPLESAUCE HE EVER HAD, SO EASY TO MAKE, I JUST ADDED A LITTLE MORE BROWN SUGAR. I WILL MAKE SURE TO MAKE THIS EVERY FALL WHEN APPLES ARE IN SEASON.

    This was absolutely the best applesauce I have ever made. I did make one change and that was to not add the lemon juice as my apples were already tart. What a great idea to use apple juice instead of water when making the sauce. I really think this made all the difference.
