UPDATE: Forgot to mention that I used a local bbq sauce instead of the Neely's. Also, I just noted this on the Fiesta Salad review and thought I'd share it here too. I saved some left-over bbq chicken and Fiesta Salad (dressing on the side for my lunch the next day. Wonderful way to use left-overs!

Moist, tender chicken. Followed the directions exactly. Marinated for about 6 hours in the frig. Everything was wonderful. Served with the Fiesta salad that was also featured on the show. Went with a store bought potato salad instead of the biscuits because I didn't want to turn the oven on.

Delish and was fairly simple to do. I used bottled BBQ sauce but otherwise followed recipe and it was sooo good. I almost didn't do the glaze but it really made this over the top good!

This is the first Neely's recipe I've tried..and it was outstanding! I didn't make the glaze, instead, I brought to a boil the marinade, added a store bought BBQ sauce (couldn't find The Neely's brand, and then simmered until glaze reduced and thickened. I then roasted it in the oven at 375F for 35minutes then basted it and roasted for another 20 min. My family loved it...the color, the taste...everything was perfect. Definitely keeping this one!

I want to make this for dinner, but am curious about how important the dijon mustard is to the recipe. I am allergic to mustard, but cannot think of anything else to substitute for it. Will it taste good without it?

I'm making this chicken for the fourth time this month today it is delicious! It brings grilled chicken to a new level absolutely amazing, I'm making a huge batch of orange barbecue wings for Memorial Day. No one ever even eats the glaze the chicken is so flavorful as is!

I baked chicken breasts, bone in, skin on for about 40 minutes in a 375 degree oven. I had marinated them for 24 hours. I put the glaze on the chicken before baking, then again after 20 minutes of baking. The Chicken is extremely flavorful, moist and tender. The excess glaze sauce is to die for when spooned over the cooked chicken. I double the glaze sauce. Delightful recipe! YUMMMMMMMMMMMM!

I made this last night exactly as posted and it was great, we especially liked dipping the grilled chicken pieces in the reserved sauce. I think I might try grilling all "dipping size" pieces of chicken next time - maybe all legs or wings, and doubling the sauce to have plenty for dipping. Nice alternative to Buffalo wings perhaps. The orange flavor was a great change of pace.

To jn_10463_13093267 in New York 72: Cook in oven at 375 Bake about an hour give or take depending on your oven. I think others did and it came out great. We love it! Hope this helps! Enjoy!

About to make this but nobody mentions how long to oven cook and why they leave out the Allspice? Is it just cause you don't like Allspice in general or a different reason, because I can see where it would add a lot to the glaze as it has a vy distinct flavor.
