This was an excellent dish! I actually had lot's of leftover turkey from Thanksgiving so I used this instead of chicken and it turned out great and looks really good in the individual dishes.

This was so good! I used leftover turkey and I added peas and very small cubed (cooked yukon gold potatoes. I omitted the pearl onions. I also added crust on the bottom as well and cooked per the Neely's recipe and it turned out great! I had enough filling leftover to make a 9" pie in addition to my ramekins. I did however, use the very small ramekins. Yummy, this is a keeper!

These are really delicious! Easy too. The seasonings go great together. I am making this for the second time.

This recipe is absolutely wonderful! Like some of the other reviewers, I also omitted the pearl onions and did not use the sherry. I made my own crust and added cubed potatoes. It thickens beautifully and bakes perfectly! My family loved it. I will definitely make this over and over again. Thank you Neelys!!!

This is a great recipe! It is very easy to prepare, but for me the prep time was more like 30 minutes instead of 15, so plan accordingly. I took the advice of some of the other reviews and substituted diced potatoes in place of the pearl onions, and added mushrooms. I also cooked it as one big "pie" and added an extra pie crust. Everything else I followed to the "T" and my filling thickened up nicely. I wouldn't decrease the broth as some people have suggested. Just make sure you whisk in the flour thoroughly before adding the rest of the ingredients. I baked my pie for 1 hour since it was bigger, and I wanted to be sure the potatoes cooked through. My family loved it!

I love this recipe!!! This is that traditional pot pie flavor we all loved as a kid. I did change up the veggies because I don't care for celery or onions in my pot pie. So instead I omitted all the veggies in this recipe and used a 20 oz frozen bag of a medley mix which had peas, carrots and corn. I also added a sm. can of diced potatoes...mmmm. I didn't have any heavy cream in the house so I used a 14 oz. can of cream of broccoli... OMG this made the filling even more creamy!!

I have one complant, I made this twice and both times I made eight individual pies (instead of six. That's the good news.
My complant is that I plan on freezing some of the pies. Hmmm, they never make it to the freezer.
Marvelous recipe!
