I know I have already posted review for this recipe, but i had to do it again, lol.
To this date, I have made this bread more than 30 times. Not kidding. There are no more bananas going bad in this house! Oh and I substitute the nuts with milk chocolate chips! YUMMMM. It's gone within a few hours. The outer crust might seem a little hard when freshly baked, so let it cool down and then enjoy. The problem is, when this bread is freshly baked, there is no waiting in my house! hehehehe

Our favorite banana nut bread recipe by far. Highly recommended - made thus far for a hundred people with nary a complaint. Sometimes will substitute marscapone for half of the sour cream.

very good...you can make these into muffins ive done muffins, loaf pan, and a bundt pan and it cooks in half the time..some times i add chocolate chips to some of the muffins really good!

I have made this recipe several times and find it is very flexible when I don't have all the ingredient - but wonderful exactly as written too. I have substituted olive oil for the butter, applesauce for part of the bananas when I did not have enough, yogurt(even flavored or creme fraiche for the sour cream and it always comes out wonderful. Like several others I found mine was done in just under an hour. Freezes great.

This is extremely moist and delicious. It made 2 loaves and the kids ate one up within an hour...the butter is definitely a plus. I will definitely keep this in my book of favorites.

Flavorful, moist and delicious!!! Made this banana nut bread as gifts for co-workers during the holiday season last year and they were a big hit! The honey butter adds to the already scrumptious flavor. Making them again as gifts this year! Merry Christmas!!
