VERY TASTY! Tried other banana nut bread receipes with total disappointment. This was perfect the first time and every time! Made several for Church bakesale this past weekend...sold out! Several orders for next bake sale. Thanks!

This is the BEST banana bread I have ever made or even had! I have been using the Neely's banana bread recipe and EVERYONE LOVES IT! my daughter's day care provider asked me to please make her some this week, so I did! She was HAPPY once again!

My oven is spot on for temp.!
I followed the directions for baking time & it was half raw!
I had to cook the next loaf for 1&1/2 hours to get it cooked thru.

This is absolutely hands-down my favorite banana bread recipe! I always try a recipe as written the first time, and then subsequent times I may make changes depending on what I have on-hand or think would work well. This recipe is a keeper, as is. The last time I made it, I subbed half of the all-purpose flour for whole wheat flour and half of the granulated sugar for brown sugar. It was super delicious (and a teensy bit healthier with the whole wheat flour. Today I did the same thing, plus added a little cinnamon and freshly ground nutmeg to the batter. It is cooking right now and smells delicious!!! I also made the honey butter, but today I added cinnamon and orange zest to the spread, and it is fantastic!!! Can't wait to spread it on a hot slice of that bread, fresh out of the oven :

Amazing bread! Have made this for others who are always amazed. Used Florida Crystals cane sugar the last time, as it was all I had .. Worked well.

Great banana bread recipe! The sour cream does the trick! Instead of white sugar, I used 1/4c splenda and 1/4c agave nectar. Very moist and tasty.

Absolutely delicious!! I am always looking for new ways to make banana bread and this is the BEST one I have tried. So moist. My husband and my 2 boys cannot stop eating this bread. I never had a chance to serve it with the honey better because they ate it hot. Thanks for this O-SO-Delicious, moist, melt in your mouth bread. OMG Good.
