The Neely?s have done it again, this recipe is genius and delicious! For starters, the ?hardest? thing about this recipe is mashing the bananas! The batter is light and fragrant. Everything comes together very quickly. The taste of the bread is just wonderful, and it is very moist. I used walnuts instead of pecans (that?s what I had in the freezer! I kept it in the oven exactly 1 hour and 10 minutes. The aroma in the house was intoxicating. And I served it topped with whipped cream. (And it freezes well. Pat & Gina, keep ?em coming!

I tried this recipe yesterday for the first time and it will not be the last. You can taste how the butter and the bananas compliment each other and it is so very moist. I believe it is the best banana nut bread I have ever put in my mouth.

This Banana Nut Bread is the best I have ever made. Very moist and delicious.
I will never cook any other recipe for banana nut bread. This will be the only one forever. I had to take it out at one hour, because it was done. It could have been my stove. Thanks to the Gina & Pat, I am one of your biggest fan.

At last, a moist and delicious banana bread recipe! It was everything the Neelys said it was.....easy and oh so moist. I like pecans but I had several english walnuts on hand and used them instead. I will use pecans or black walnuts the next time I make the bread. This recipe is definitely a keeper and I will use it over and over again.

This was the BEST Banana Nut Bread I ever made! I decided to try it out because I did not have any applesause on hand, which was called for in my OLD recipe. I used 1/3 pecans and 2/3 walnuts as this was what I had on hand. Also had to cover it with aluminum foil to prevent over browning (baked it in a convection toaster oven 1hr 45 mins!!. Worth the wait, It was great! Loved the honey butter, too!

I made this today but only cooked for 1 hour, (10 minutes less than recommended and it came out great!! The top was getting too dark to leave in the oven any longer. So tasty I am going to share the recipe!

For Valentine's Day, I baked this banana nut bread using organic ingredients. iIt was excellent! Note: Instead of using a 10 x 5 loaf pan, I divided the recipe into 4 smaller loaf pans, then baked the smaller loaves at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. They were perfectly done at that temp and time. Definitely try the honey butter on the warm bread - it is a delicious!

I made this bread today it was so delicious and moist! I would absolutely make it again! Just a note, I only had light sour cream on hand so I used it - couldn't even tell. I also baked it for 15 minutes less than the directions called for. Had I let it go any longer, it would have burned.
