The banana bread was moist and had good flavor, but in my opinion could have used an additional banana in the batter. I will definitely take the suggestion below of adding some chocolate chips next time I make it.

No nuts or honey but still delicious. I over cooked it but we still ate it up.

This is a great recipe. makes such a nice batter (this recipe is similar to others I've used except for the sour cream - I think that is the secret ingredient. It bakes evenly on top instead of rising extremely high in the middle. My changes were using 2 large bananas instead of 3 and adding 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips along with the pecans. I skipped the honey butter, just used regular butter. Yum!

My very first attempt at this tasty treat was the day after Thanksgiving 2011. We had a brunch for 20 and everyone absolutely loved it! The only thing left on the platter were the crumbs. I did make one alteration, I used 1/2 cup of pecans and 1/2 cups of walnuts. It was absolutely wonderful!!!! And of course I was the star of the day!

Absolutely delicious and very easy to make. I changed up the recipe just a bit - added a cup of raisins as well. Great with or without though!
