    This is the best pot roast EVER! I also add mushrooms and potatoes and I take the lid off the last 20 minutes or so, so the potatoes can get crusty and browned. i also make gravy out of the liquid left in the pan. Just an easy delicious recipe!

    I have no doubt that this recipe should be all of five stars however I followed the recipe exactly and the meat was tough. Not sure what went wrong.

    This was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I used a boneless chuck roast & was so sorry it was only three pounds. My husband & I keep "sampling" the meat & had to make noodles with it because so much was gone by time we sat down to eat. Get your ingredients chopped & measured before browning the meat & the rest goes quickly. The oven does all the work. I can't wait to make this for company. Actually, I can't wait to make this again for me, lol.

    This was sooo good! My mother-in-law used to make the best pot roast and mine was never even close. But now, thanks to Momma Neely's easy recipe we'll be eating pot roast again. I made it with garlic mashed potatoes and buttered green beans - my family all but licked the plates!

    Loved this recipe.My family enjoyed it so much they asked immediately when will I be making it again.Tomorrow night I will be making it again and my son who is in the Navy and just got back from being stationed in Hawaii for 3 1/2 years will be having dinner with us.I know he is going to love this.Thank You for such a good recipe to share with my family.
