I have made this twice and since it's been a while I think I need to make it again. Would be awesome with thanksgiving dinner. I followed the recipe exactly and it was so flavorful. Everyone who tasted it, loved it I love smoked paprika, so the topping really makes this dish. I was a little afraid and thought it strange the dill with the smoked paprika before I made it, but the flavors worked so well with each other. The panko topping so crispy and light would be great on top of any casserole or mac n' cheese. Yet another perfect dish from the Neelys!

I made this for a block party and it was completely consumed within minutes. While other casseroles were untouched, through word of mouth it was completely gone. The Gruyere can be expensive but it is delicious in so many other recipes (mac n' cheese, quiche, omelets, frittatas, mashed potatoes that it really wasn't a wallet buster to buy since I could use it in so much else. Perfect for Potlucks and family gatherings!

A huge hit with my husband and friends. So easy and yes expensive; however, I planned other meals for the week using all the left over ingrediants so not so expensive to the pocket book. Plan to make for my Mother's 88th birthday potluck.... So easy. Keep cooking and the cook will always smile.

I really enjoyed this casserole but it was on the expensive side to make. If I made this again I'd add chicken to it for something different but I enjoyed this just as it is. I can only imagine the calories but it was worth it.

This recipe is a dieters nightmare, but what a way to go... YUM YUM. moderatation my heiney.. lol it was so delicious! Simple and easy to make a no brainer. Yes, it can be expensive, but by items on sale, than make it. Yes the cheese is quite expensive, more so than other types, but buy at sams and vacuum seal the rest to use in another recipe. Thanks, Neelys. Love your show.

My first recipe I have tried of the Neely's. I love asparagus and wanted to do something different instead of the norm. (steaming etc Perfect ingredients all compliment each other. I was a little apprehensive about the dill but made it anyway. I am so glad I did. When I make a recipe for the first time I always use what the recipe calls for and for me there should not be any changes. Great Job Neely's can't wait to try more of your wonderful recipes. Love watching you both on Foodnetwork.

I just did this recipe today. I have to say to those who had an issue with the cost, you can get the asparagus in 2 lb. bulk at Costco for 3.99 and still have half a pound lefter over, as for the cheese, you only need one cup and with the block I bought at 7.75 I have 3 times the amount left than what I used for the recipe and it's great cheese which can be used to bake macaroni and cheese or even used to make an awesome grilled cheese sandwich. Anyway, I found that after letting the dish sit for a 10 minutes the flavors really came together more than when we ate it right out of the oven. I think the leftovers will taste fantastic the following day! Great recipe and I will make this again, next time for company! Thanks Neely's!!!

i was really excited about this recipe but disappointed with the taste. the casserole didn't hold well together and i wasn't fond of the flavor combos from the dill and paprika. it was kind of bland. did i mention that the greyere cheese cost me 10 bucks?

Baked this for the recommended 20 minutes. Added an additional 11 minutes because the topping needed to brown more in my casserole. It looked lovely. When I brought it to the table to serve, the casserole was very loose and liquidy underneath those crunchy panko crumbs. The taste was even more disappointing, which surprised me.
