I was asked at the last minute to bring a pasta salad to a friends barbecue. They specifically asked for a barbecue pasta salad. This fit the bill. Everyone raved about it. I added 5 strips of crumbled bacon. I used chicken instead of pork b/c the main protein was ribs. I omitted the cayene only b/c I didn't know how others would react to the heat. This is a definite keeper and easy to make.

This was a huge success at our annual party. I made a few adjustments after reading the reviews. I added in corn, black beans and bacon. The bacon was a great addition. I also found that if you make this ahead of time that you might need to add extra sauce to make it creamy enough. Thank you for this wonderful recipe.

This was a GREAT side dish.. I changed a couple things for ease. I used orzo pasta and instead of pork I just grabbed a pre cooked chicken from the store. Other then that I stuck to the recipe and everyone LOVED it.. I would recommend this dish to just about anyone. It does have some spice but my 3 year old daughter really liked it to. Its not too spicy

I made this recipe with a few changes and it was delicious. Instead of the pork, I used Rotisserie chicken and cut out the hot stuff (so my daughter would eat it. It was a hit with the entire family. Next time I'll make it using everything from the recipe as I love hot stuff! Another great recipe from the Neely's! I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because I didn't follow the recipe exactly.

This is a nice change from the mayo-based or vinegar-based dressings for past salad. We enjoy this program.

THIS IS MY FIRST FOOD REVIEW, HOPE I HAVE EVERYTHING RIGHT. I LOVED THIS BBQ PASTA RECIPIE. WHEN I SEEN IT ON TV BEING MADE THOUGHT BBQ SAUCE INSIDE OF A MAYO BASED PASTA SALAD WOULD BE VERY TASTY BUT I WAS DEAD WRONG. I USED PENNE INSTEAD OF FUSILI, LEFT OUT THE HEAT, AND USED A DIFFERENT BBQ SAUCE. FANTASTIC!!!

I made the recipe for our annual family cookout (had to double the ingredients. It was a hit, in fact I have been asked to bring the same dish next year.

I am a vegetarian so I did not use pork. Instead I added black beans, as well as corn. I used store bought BBQ sauce, too. My husband said it was a "make again recipe" (and he IS a meat-eater. I think that says it all.

I thought this dish was yummy and easy to put together. Here's what I did: omitted the celery and put in chives and left over grilled sweet corn. Used distille white vinegar instead of apple cider and substituted a tsp. of bbq seasoning for the cayenne. Also you can buy fully cooked pulled pork in the grocery store. It was a HUGE timesaver and tasted great. This meal only took 20 minutes to pull together. A really simple summer dinner.

Served this yesterday, pretty much as is, and they were fighting over the left-overs. The only thing I did different was to use my own homemade bbq sauce, which I already had on hand. I would say, looking at the Neely bbq sauce, mine is not as sweet. Will have to try it and see, but it is a great concept.
